Data deletion instructions

SmivIQ does not currently claim an automated public deletion endpoint. Requests are reviewed so the requester’s identity, clinic relationship, and deletion scope can be verified without deleting another person’s or clinic’s records.

SmivIQ is a pilot / early-access software product independently operated in India by Yogesh S Surwase. For product, privacy, or data deletion enquiries, contact smiviq.support@gmail.com.

If you are a patient

  1. Contact the dental clinic that communicated with you and ask it to delete or correct the information it controls in SmivIQ.
  2. You may also contact SmivIQ at the address shown above. State that this is a data deletion request and name the clinic involved.
  3. Do not include diagnosis, X-rays, payment credentials, passwords, access tokens, or other sensitive clinical information in the first message.

If you are a clinic owner or staff member

  1. Use the verified contact address associated with your clinic account.
  2. Identify the clinic and whether the request concerns an account, Meta/WhatsApp connection, patient operational record, or the full clinic workspace.
  3. SmivIQ will verify that you have authority for the requested scope before acting.

What happens next

SmivIQ will acknowledge the request through the verified contact channel, confirm the scope, coordinate with the clinic where it controls the patient relationship, and either complete the permitted deletion or explain what must be retained and why. Timing depends on identity verification, the request scope, applicable law, and provider dependencies.

Meta and WhatsApp data

A request may include information received through a clinic-authorized Meta or WhatsApp connection. Disconnecting a clinic’s integration stops SmivIQ’s linked automation but does not by itself delete information held independently by Meta, WhatsApp, the clinic, or a patient’s device. Those parties’ own controls and policies apply.

Records that may remain

Limited records may be retained when required for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or to document that an opt-out request was honored. SmivIQ will not promise deletion that would be unlawful or undermine a patient’s communication choice.

Request status

Use the same verified contact thread to ask for status. Do not publish request references, patient details, or evidence in public issue trackers.
